The movie A Bronx Tale was released in 1993, directed by Robert De Niro and written by Chazz Palminteri. A wonderful story with brilliant performances and wonderful music. An instant classic which I’ve seen multiple times and it never gets old. I’m fortunate enough to have seen the play on Broadway and I enjoyed it tremendously. It was a bit odd watching Sonny sing. However, my love of musicals, with amazing performances quickly removed any odd feelings. I enjoyed the play immensely and that night I created this drawing. I posted it on Instagram and to my surprise the actor who played Calogero, in the play, Adam Kaplan liked it which was a real treat.
